Another faculty is the Studio Loft, which is the event, rehearsal, and performance space. It is used for the refreshment servings and meetings. The auditorium also includes some other venues within such as the Chambers Grant Salon that can be accessed from Ellie's main lobby with a capacity of 750 people. In 1921, along with many other performances, the theater had numerous performances by well-known artists such as Flotow's Martha along with mostly all the opera concerts, local opera productions, and visiting opera companies. For many years, the venue hosted the annual Music Week as a yearly event in the 1920s and 30s. The main purpose of this building, previously, was to facilitate concerts, theatres, operas, and other social and political events. It was the largest opera house in the USA other than the Madison Square Garden in New York when it was known as the Municipal Auditorium. The venue is under the ownership of the Denver Performing Arts Complex (City and County of Denver). This auditorium underwent renovations in the years 1956, 1992, and 2005. It has a seating capacity of 2,225 people at a time. This venue is a part of the Denver Performing Art Complex which was opened to the public on July 7, 1908.
